We are on hand to help find the right storage unit for you & once we’ve found it, we can reserve it, ready for your arrival.

Step 2

Pack your things

Organisation time! Whether you’re staying with us for a week or a year, we always recommend you organise your belongings & pack them suitably to keep them protected (plus, it really helps once you come to move out!). With an extensive range of packaging supplies, we have everything you need to keep your goods in tip-top condition on your journey into your storage unit. Step 3

Move-in

Once you’re packed and ready to go, make sure to take advantage of our free van & driver service, which will come and collect your belongings from home and bring them to our storage centre. On the day, you will need to complete your sign up in reception, then all you have to do is pack your goods into your unit, lock up and go!

Amazing storage facility. We dealt with both Stephen and Paul, who were extremely helpful, nothing to much trouble, explained how everything worked.
We booked a smaller unit upstairs, managed to get loads in it.
The place is spotless, plenty of trolleys.
They kindly gave us a fob so we could use the facility over the weekend at anytime, which helped us out a lot.
Can't say enough about Apex Glossop, they are fabulous. Keep up the good work guys.

Just moved Otto my new unit, having to up the size of my unit 3 times had no issues. Rachael And the team are very accommodating and strive to help in anyway. Had deliveries delivered to the storage unit and if I'm not able to get there in time or they arrive without me knowing the team always make sure it's locked away safe and Secure until I arrive at the unit.

If you are looking for somewhere relaxed, easy access and Secure I would highly recommend apex.

Just relinquished my unit after nearly 6 years.
Its been a great 'off site' storage facility for the business.
I would definitely have kept the unit on but have made significant changes in the business going forward and don't need the space any longer.
I cannot fault Greg and the team, they've always been friendly and helpful (when I keep forgetting my access code 🙄).

I cannot recommend them enough. Moved house recently and this was by a country mile the least stressful part of it. I used Apex for storage over the course of the move and it took some of the pressure off. Its all very efficent and seemless, someone has actually thought out the layout of the whole site quite well and the staff I've delt with were very helpful and friendly.

First time using a storage unit. So easy to do, and that is down to your employees.
I first visited a week or two ago to look at the sizes of the units, as recommended on your website. I was shown by Jen. Jen went through the price for the lockup I requested, I was told about the offer that was on, 8 weeks with 50% off for the first 4 weeks. Jen went through everything really thoroughly.
Jen also helped me with purchasing some boxes, tape and bubble wrap.
I booked the unit the following week over the phone, to start from the 1st Feb. I arrived on the 1st with some boxes. Jen went through all the forms with me, explaining some terms and conditions.
I was really impressed with how clean and tidy everywhere is. Trolleys and cages are available to take your boxes etc to the lockup.
Jen was super friendly, and very conscientious and made the hold whole experience stress free. An asset to your company.
Can I add that your website is so user friendly. The list of what you are going to store, to help you choose the size of unit you may need, is a great idea. I am useless at sizes, and would have chosen one far too big without this.
I 100% recommend Apex, they will be my number 1 go to in the future.

Overall I'm really satisfied with my experience with Apex (Princess Road). The staff are genuinely really nice people and I reckon it's great value for money, especially considering the moving van is provided free (for 1hr) - Not all Self Storage units offer that. Hasnat was really helpful providing the initial quote and sorting out the contract. The move to the storage unit went smoothly. John (van driver) arrived on time to pick up my things and was really pleasant, giving advice on how best to load everything into the van. Once I arrived at the unit, I was assisted by Rachel who answered all of my queries and went out of her way to ensure the unit would accommodate all of my stuff. Was even offered a brew :) Five Stars from me! Would definitely recommend.

Amazing staff and storage. Due to personal circumstances, I wasn't able to provide certain documents. The staff were so helpful, understanding and got the storage set up. A big shout out to Hanaat. I recently visited Apex Hulme Self Storage, and I must say the service was absolutely outstanding! Rachael, Hasnaat, and Aaron were incredibly helpful and friendly. Being my first time using a storage facility, they patiently provided all the necessary details and answered each and every question I had. Their approach made it clear that this is more than just a business for them – they truly make you feel valued.

The staff demonstrated professionalism and reliability throughout the entire process, from assisting with booking and payments to ensuring a smooth transfer of my belongings to the storage facility. Apex consistently upheld their punctuality and efficiency, making the experience hassle-free.

On my second visit, I required access to the site during a public holiday, and the team was accommodating by providing extended access. Rachael Biggs went above and beyond, offering a thorough site tour and explaining the access procedures in detail. She even arranged for a cage to be prepared for me, labeled with my name and monitored under CCTV for added security, which gave me peace of mind.

What truly set this experience apart was Rachel's empathy and dedication to her work. On my initial call, I was having a particularly challenging day and was struggling to reach the site. Despite this, Rachel remained in constant communication, updating me on timings and guiding me through the booking process and necessary paperwork. As a professional who values commitment and strong work ethics, I was genuinely impressed by Rachel’s attentiveness and dedication, which made a lasting impression.

I’ve used Apex ardwick before and they are always good but when I came recently to switch storage units I was going to move all of my items by myself into the next unit and Siobhan who was working there by herself ended up helping me move all of my stuff and while I was sorting everything out she would come and check on me if I had any questions or if I needed anymore help. Helped a friend move a range of items into storage due to a house move. My review relates to Tommy the chap who was the driver, part of Apex's 2 hour van/person support service. We got everything done at the house end and Tommy played an absolute blinder at the Apex storage end, empting the van as we moved everything into the storage unit. I used apex storage services for around 4 months, during summer / autumn whilst we were having some home renovations completed. The whole process was stress free and it made everything so much easier for us. Access to our storage unit was really convenient as it was from 8:30-5:30pm Mon - fri and up until 1pm on Saturdays, which suited us perfectly. Rachael and Hasnaat were so accommodating! I would greatly recommend Apex storage service.

I had a seamless experience with Apex Ardwick Storage. As a student graduating in September, it was difficult to pack and move everything back home, so I chose Apex Ardwick (conveniently located near the university) for my storage needs. After a month, I moved all my belongings to another city, and they were incredibly helpful with bringing my luggage down and even recommended some movers. We couldn't recommend the team at Apex enough, what started as a pre-house move storage unit rental last year has now turned into us fully running our small business here using one of the offices and a larger storage unit. Nothing is too much trouble, the team are polite, friendly and can't do enough for you which was especially handy when we swapped units more times than we could count due to the business expanding! You won't get better service anywhere else, and as a business we wouldn't be where we are now without them!

A really great facility, used between November and Feb. The aisles between units are wide enough to get most items down, always lots of trolleys on the go, you can pack a lot into the lift to get to the first floor and the car park well lit. The staff are very reasonable and will help with any issues, invoicing was very convenient.

Storage made very easy! I needed to store around 70% of my smaller belongings quickly as part of a house move, and it really couldn't have been simpler: just two forms of ID (they tell you what is acceptable in advance) and a check to see what size storage unit is available. Then, when you're happy with the unit and the storage period you need, pay for it and start moving belongings/stock in. They provide free use of large trolleys and a sack truck. I would advise bringing a padlock, if you have one (or you can buy a good one at a reasonable price from Apex). And, assuming you clear the unit by the date agreed, that's it! If this is looking unlikely, though, speak to the staff and they will talk you through your options - they cater for most eventualities. I'd like to thank Donna and Cy for their friendly advice and hassle-free admin. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, and highly recommend Apex to others.

Never used a storage facility before so was unsure what to expect I can’t fault Apex in Radcliffe from the first point of contact to get information and prices to the day we moved our stuff in via the free hire of the their man and van everybody was lovely, friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble.

A very friendly team at the Congleton site. The storage unit was very clean.
Access to the shutter doors can be a bit tight when another vehicle is on the ramp, but in general, the site is great. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again.

Using this review as a way of thanking the staff while using the storage container. I was in a jam with my business and needed to move very quickly. Gary was really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him. This will be the first place I call next time I need storage.

I have used Apex for the last 15 months. Really helpful team at Congleton. Easy to access out of hours too. Alarms definitely work!! Haha I know as I have forgotten to put my code in when the team are on site and I opened the door to my unit and the alarms go off. I like that though as shows how secure it is. Would 100% recommend using them. Loads of different size units available too.

Had a unit from Apex for eight months now which helped me out tremendously.
Donna and Si who manage the reception have been extremely helpful to me over the time and I can't thank them both enough, they both appear to have the place running like clockwork, very efficient indeed and a credit to your company.

Can’t fault this storage facility.
The staff are friendly and helpful and the units are spotless.
I’ve recently vacated two units in this facility after 8 months and used them in the past and I would definitely recommend them but get in there quick because they fill up very quickly.

A new venture for me as I was finding it difficult to climb the ladder into the loft to store mainly Christmas decorations. The staff, Jen, was most helpful, showing me the container I was looking for, and dealing with the booking. I have deposited some of my items into the locker with more to follow! It was perhaps more expensive than I thought, but it does include insurance, was nice and clean, and I will have hopefully, made it a bit easier for myself in the future.

This was just the best solution ever to a storage problem between houses.
The Apex team; Donna and Simon at the depot in Congleton, and John the van driver couldn’t have been more helpful or approachable!
Thanks guys for all your help.
Moving is so stressful, and you took a lot of the stress out of it.
I wouldn’t hesitate to use this as a solution again. 👍😁

Donna and the team are great, friendly and efficient, very helpful. Put stuff in our unit out of hours, system worked great, very useful. Only reason for the four stars is there was a leak in the roof, but that has been rectified before it became a problem.

Needed to use Apex to store furniture while we're waiting for a new house. From the point of reservation to moving in the process has been straightforward and the staff really helpful.

The unit itself is clean, tidy and secure, with perfect access for vans or cars to load and unload as needed. I would definitely recommend to other people.

Apex was perfect for what I needed at the time. I had a 40ft container for around 4 months and it was waterproof and in clean condition and very spacious so perfect 5* from me,
Staff were brilliant and customer service is exactly what you would want.
24hr access with brilliant secure site which left me happy to leave mystuff knowing it was on a secure site in my time on the site it was clear to see Apex are keen to improve there sites with even better camara and flood lights when there in the evenings.
Manager Gary and staff member Sally will be the reason I would highly recommend this site to my buinsess connections who need storage facility.
